Good Bi Love: Aaron Carter Isn't “Confused” About His Bisexuality

Aaron Carter made headlines when he came out as bi a rare months ago . Right after coming out, he told paparazzi at an LAX baggage claim that he was only interested in pursuing relationships with women.

"When it comes down to it, really, I had an experience when I was 17 with a guy, but now as an almost 30-year-old man, I'm going to be pursuing relationships with women," he said .

Then, on December 18th, in the newest installment of the podcast LGBTQ&A , Carter told host Jeffrey Masters that he's exposed to the idea of dating men as successfully as women.

"I definitely welcome my bisexuality, and, you know, it's still novel to me," Carter said. "I'm just still bewildered about it...I mean, I did have a partnership with a great guy when I was younger... I'm single right now, so I don't know." (You can check out the full episode here.)

Aaron Carter was left in tears after taking to the stage at a gay bar in Florida on Thursday (10Aug17) for his first gig since 'coming out' as bisexual.

The I Want Candy singer performed at Hamburger Mary's in Brandon and debuted his new ballad Hard to Love, which he wrote about his ex-girlfriend Madison Parker.

Aaron dumped her days before he went public with the news he's attracted to both genders earlier this month (Aug17).

"I just desire to say thank you for all your adore and support with the LGBTQ community and my announcement," he told the crowd. "It means a lot. Yes I am a bisexual man... I just want to utter I am who I am..."

After singing the track, Aaron broke down and again commended the crowd for their support.

"I just want to say praise you again for believing in me and even if you don't, I'll still love you," he said.

Aaron recently revealed he told Madison about his sexuality and when she didn't understand what he was telling her, he decided it was time to move on.

“It’s an equal attraction. I can find a guy very attractive. I can have attraction to them, like sexual attraction, and then, I can contain the same thing for a woman,” Carter, 30, explained to Us about being bisexual. “But I’ve never been in a relationship, full on with a male. When I was 17, I dated somebody. I’m not going to mention his specify because I haven’t gotten permission.”

“But it was one of my dancers and I really liked him,” Carter added. “I mind he was good looking. He could tumble. He was just attractive to me. Even when I was younger, I had that attraction.”

The former toddler star also revealed that he experimented with one of his friends as a teenager.

Aaron Carter got emotional onstage this week at his first show since he publicly revealed he is bisexual.

Last weekend, the 29-year-old singer opened up about his sexuality on Twitter, saying that he was about 13 when he "started to locate boys and girls attractive" and that over the next few years, he had a "few relationships with girls" and "an life with a male that I had an attraction to who I also worked with and grew up with."

Carter performed at Hamburger Mary's, a gay-friendly prevent and restaurant, near his hometown of Tampa, Florida Thursday and gave a exceptional shout-out to his fans after wiping away tears.
