A Sunbather&#;s Paradise

Sydney has emerged as the gay capital of the Southern Hemisphere, and Sydney&#;s gay beaches are a major same-sex attracted attraction and rated terrific, some of which are among the ‘gayest’ Australia has to offer.

The known Bondi Beach has a large gay concentration in the north end, whilst Obelisk Beach is a favourite of the lgbtq+ and lesbian sun-lover.  Foreshore Beach is nude and gay, located off Foreshore Road near the airport.  Lady Jane Beach is another gay beach that has become an officially sanctioned clothing-optional recreation area. Sydney Lgbtq+ Scene

There are many homosexual venues throughout the municipality, although well-established Sydney gay bars and clubs can be found on Oxford Road in Darlinghurst.  This district has become more mixed in recent years but it is still the most popular place for a night out.

Sydney has wonderful weather all year round.  The summer lofty season is from December through February, with the peak period for same-sex attracted sunbathers being during the internationally renowned Mardi Gras festival (around late-February or prior March).

Best Gay Beaches in Sydney – The Top Six List

The sun is (mostly) out, those beach days are back in Sydney and I&#;m excited to be catching up with friends from around the world who are coming on down to Australia for some fun in the sun.

Over the years I&#;ve shared all sorts of Sydney tips with friends, from gorgeous walks you can do with killer Sydney views along with some things you can do in Sydney on a rainy evening when the harbour city&#;s weather turns on a dime and shows off its stormy side.

Let&#;s pummel off with the one you already know – Bondi Beach. It&#;s eminent for a reason, and if you&#;re not already staying in Bondi it&#;s worth popping on down at least once if you’re visiting from out of town.

Sydney's LGBTQI+ and gay-friendly beaches

Lady Jane Beach

This little stretch of sand at the end of South Head peninsula is a clothing-frowned-upon beach – though technically it's been clothing-optional since Neville Wran made it so in It can be a bit of a boys' club of you're male lover and looking to cruise and you can anticipate stink-eye if you opt the option of actually wearing clothing, but this is mostly a welcoming beach. Nude straights frequent the sand too. Mention, this is one for the exhibitionists – many gay blogs and male lover travel sites note that tourists often come here to gawp.

Little Congwong Beach

Head past the families and children who maintain to dot Congwong Beach out at La Perouse and onto the paved walk that meanders through the brambles behind it – or across a more treacher

Great nude sunbathing spot and plenty of private action in the bushes.

  • Warnings:No problems in this area, but don't flaunt it if a beach patrol happens by.
