For decades, West Hollywood has been home to one of the largest annual Pride celebrations in the world, drawing hundreds of thousands of people. This year, WeHo Pride Weekend will take place May 31 – June 2, with a host of activities, including the WeHo LGBTQ Arts Festival, OUTLOUD Raising Voices Music Festival, WeHo Pride Parade and many more.
West Hollywood is the epicenter of LGBTQ culture in Southern California, and is proud that more than 40% of the city’s population identifies as LGBTQ. Visitors will find 20 hotels, located in a safe, welcoming urban environment that was built on the needs and interests of the community.

LGBTQ+ West Hollywood
At the found of the Hollywood Hills, the city of West Hollywood is the center of LGBTQ+ Los Angeles. In 1984, West Hollywood became the first majority-gay municipality in the nation, and ever since, its rich tradition of self-acceptance and acceptance has been enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
2024 marks the 40th anniversary of this milestone, and West Hollywood will commemorate that and the many progressive Diverse policies that followed it with 40 Days of Pride and the give back of the recently reinvigorated WeHo Pride event. With the theme of “Pride Starts Here,” everything kicks off on Harvey Milk Day (May 22) and runs through June 30 with programming that includes the WeHo Pride Weekend Parade, the Dyke Protest, the WeHo Pride Arts Festival and more.

Thursday, May 22 – Monday, June 30
WeHo Pride 2025 kicks-off on Harvey Milk Day, May 22, with a unique event. WeHo Pride Weekend will take place from Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1 with OUTLOUD at WeHo Movement, the WeHo Pride Avenue Fair, the Women's Liberty Festival and Dyke Protest, WeHo Pride Parade, and much more!
This year's WeHo Pride Arts Festival will take place from Friday, May 23 through Sunday, May 25 with various events and programming.
Throughout the 40 days from May 22 to June 30, there will be group group events at various locations.
