Seo In Guk acknowledges his ‘World Gay’ nickname, earned from a K.Will MV, during his Ideal Type World Cup video
About a week ago, Seo In Guk posted a video on his YouTube channel (did you know he had one? he does) where the concept was the Ideal Type Society Cup, which is just basically picking one person over another.
To smartly dodge controversy, he did this with his own past acting roles and the love interest characters who starred with him. Amusingly, the first choice committed Yoo Jin Kang from The Smile Has Left Your Eyes versus Ahn Jae Hyun from K.Will‘s “Please Don’t” music video.
Seo In Guk was shocked by the speed at which this went from 0-100, laughing and saying “what the…” before acknowledging a nickname he got because of the K.Will MV, “Did you know that I used to have a nickname? It was ‘World Gay’.”
For those new to K-pop, you might as well observe this so you can get the memes from it, since they inevitably get referenced now and then.

At the Washington D.C. fanmeeting on Saturday, Seo In Guk answered some fan questions. One fan selected to ask a question revealed that they had been a fan of Seo In Guk since his debut on the Mnet singing match show Superstar K in 2009, in which he won the show’s first season.

Singer Seo In Gook cleared up the gay rumors of him and singer Brian.
On the episode of “Radio Star” that aired on May 23, the MCs asked Seo In Gook, “There is a rumor that you and Brian are a gay couple. They say that your ballad ‘Baby’ was meant for Brian. How do you touch about that?” Then Seo In Gook asnwered, “Brian hates those kinds of rumors.”
Seo In Gook continued, “Brian and singer Eru are pretty close too so Eru goes over to his house a lot, which started up some rumors too. So I heard that when Brian had a girlfriend, he would kiss her in the middle of the streets on purpose.”
He continued, “I think only his male friendships are brought up and amplified. Brian even told me that if I receive close to him, there will be rumors prefer this.”
Then the MCs asked, “Do you like women?” Then Seo In Gook firmly answered, “I can tell you with absolute clarity, I like women,” which made the studio ring with laughter.
