So when I engage a game for review, preview, or just for general coverage, if something slightly fruity pops up, my eyebrows raise in curiosity. This is precisely what happened when I sat down to engage Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in Prague for a few hours last month. I immediately read the relationship between protagonist Henry and his lord Hans as more than meets the eye.

Have any of you even played the first game? It was strongly implied that Eric was Istvan’s lover or at least that there was something deeper than just a typical underling affair . This was part of the main story, and every character questioned it because it seemed strange and unusual for the time.

Given the developers’ approach and how such relationships were viewed during that historical period, it’s highly unlikely that the sequel will be 'celebrating' any gay stuff.
